The Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984, is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). LESCO is licensed to distribute and supply electricity to its consumers, currently more than 5.1 million, within defined geographical areas of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Districts.

The Company is seeking the services of dynamic qualified professionals with relevant experience for following positions purely on performance-based contracts not to be regularized in the future;

Name of positions


1. Director of ERP

Qualification and Experience

  • Chartered Accountant, Masters in Computer Science, IT, Computer Software Engineering, MBIT Management Sciences, Accounting & Finance, or a related discipline from HEC recognized local or foreign universities/ institution. However, Ph.D. in these disciplines will be given preference.
  • Minimum 12 years Post Qualification experience in Oracle application with at least 2 full ERP life cycle implementation.
  • Preferably PMP certified professional.
  • Oracle Certified Professional will be preferred.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and project management experience to manage a sizable project team.
  • Additional technical qualifications and certifications along with a variety of work experience will be an added advantage.
  • Be able to trouble shoot the application issues.
  • Must have good communication skills, spoken and written as well as presentation skills

 Job Description

Ensure that ERP systems are functioning properly and its continuity of business processes.

Analyze and understand business requirements along with technical design and implementation.

Provide coaching and leadership to Team Members and End-Users.

Control project scope and risk management.

Manage ERP technical architecture/ Infrastructure.

Communicates project needs regularly and effectively to Top Management.


2. Team Lead (Expert Material Management)

Qualification and Experience

  • Masters in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Software Engineering/ MBA/ MBA IT, Supply Chain Management, Management Sciences, Accounting & Finance, BS (Hons)/ BSc (Hons) (16 years qualification) in a related discipline from HEC recognized universities/ institutions-local/ Foreign.
  • Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in Oracle application with at least 1 full life cycle implementation.
  • Technical Expertise in Oracle SCM/ Inventory Modules.
  • Familiar with Oracle tools i.e. Forms & Reports, PL/ SQL, SQL * Loader, XML/ BI Publisher and Oracle Discovered.
  • Understanding and working experience of Oracle Workflows.
  • Additional technical qualifications and certifications along with a variety of work experience will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably Oracle Certified Professional.
  • Must have knowledge of procurement rules (PPRA rules).
  • Must have a good communication skills, spoken and written.

Job Description

Provide professional development to a team of technical developers, functional experts and system/ database administrators.

Plan and direct day-to-day technical team activities (including but not limited to development, application fixes/ upgrades/ enhancements).

Design and implement technical components surrounding technical architecture, maintenance, operational support regarding EBS  (Supply Chain Management Module).


3. Team Lead (Expert HRM)

Qualification and Experience

  • Masters in Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Software Engineering/ MBA HR Masters in HR, Management Sciences, Accounting & Finance, BSc Hons (16 years qualification) in a related discipline from HEC recognized Universities/ Institutions/ Foreign.
  • Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in Oracle application with at least 1 full life cycle implementation.
  • Technical Expertise in Oracle Human Resources (HR), Oracle Payroll, Oracle Self-Service Human Resources (SSHR).
  • Oracle Performance Management, Oracle i-recruitment, Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), Oracle Learning Management, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB)
  • Expertise with Oracle tools i.e. Forms & Reports, PL/ SQL, SQL * Loader, XML/ BI Publisher and Oracle Discoverer.
  • Understanding and working experience of Oracle Workflows.
  • Additional technical qualifications and certifications along with a variety of work experience will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably Oracle Certified Professional.
  • Must have a good communication skills, spoken and written.

Job Description

    (Expert Financial) Finance, BSc Hons (16 years qualification) in a related discipline from HEC recognized Universities/ Institutions/ Foreign.
  • Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in Oracle application with at least 1 full life cycle implementation.
  • Technical Expertise in Oracle Financial Modules
  •  Expertise with Oracle tools i.e. Forms & Reports, PL/ SQL, SQL * Loader, XML/ BI Publisher and Oracle Discoverer.
  • Understanding and working experience of Oracle Workflows.
  • Additional technical qualifications and certifications along with a variety of work experience will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably Oracle Certified Professional.
  • Must have a good communication skills, spoken and written.

  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in Oracle application with at least 1 full life cycle implementation.
  • Technical Expertise in Oracle Financial Modules
  •  Know-How with Oracle tools i.e. Forms & Reports, PL/ SQL, SQL * Loader, XML/ BI Publisher and Oracle Discoverer.
  • Understanding and working experience of Oracle Workflows.
  • Preferably Oracle Certified Professional.
  • Must have good communication skills, spoken and written.

Job Description

Perform Oracle E-Business Suite Applications technical support tasks.

Report Development of Oracle R12 Financial Modules i.e. Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle General Ledger, and Oracle Projects in Oracle Report Builder, XML/ BI Publisher and Oracle Discoverer tools.

Form Customization.

Data uploading through open interfaces, APIs, SQL Loader etc.

Remuneration: The positions are offered a market-based lump sum package.

Tenure

The initial contract shall be for a period of 12 months effective from the date of joining (with 3 months ‘ probation period) extendable as per Rules on the basis of satisfactory performance.
